I soooo love this year! In 2008, there are amazing albums coming out. Another great one is coming, it’s Renee Olstead’s new album, Skylark. The release of this album but it has been pushed back several times, first it was gonna be in the summer of 2006 , then moved to early 2007 and being mentioned on online retailers such as Amazon.com. But then it moved again. Now, you can sit back and relax, because it is currently slated for a June 2008 release, and it was confirmed by Renee herself when I met her at Java Jazz Festival 2008. After waiting for merely 3 years, I could just say… “finally..” pheew.. 
But hey, she gave a little teaser at Java Jazz, by singing Skylark. It was amazing! surely this album will be a blast as well. Miss her amazing voice and interpretation? stay tune, it’s coming real soon.

yeah… something must have gone wrong again… cuz June 2008 was stated by Renee herself.. I really hope it will come out soon. It’s been too long..

Anyway, my question is, will the eventual release include her marvelous song, Christmas in Love? It’s not available elsewhere, and I really want it.
yeah i know.. it was supposed to be released couple of years ago.. but according to Renee the producer was too busy, and the album had to be posponed… i dont know why it’s still hasn’t released till now.. hopefully it won’t be too long to wait.. about the song, i haven’t got a clue either.. hopefully she will include the song in the album, or even better if she makes a christmas album..
