I soooo love this year! In 2008, there are amazing albums coming out. Another great one is coming, it’s Renee Olstead’s new album, Skylark. The release of this album but it has been pushed back several times, first it was gonna be in the summer of 2006 , then moved to early 2007 and being mentioned on online retailers such as Amazon.com. But then it moved again. Now, you can sit back and relax, because it is currently slated for a June 2008 release, and it was confirmed by Renee herself when I met her at Java Jazz Festival 2008. After waiting for merely 3 years, I could just say… “finally..” pheew.. :) But hey, she gave a little teaser at Java Jazz, by singing Skylark. It was amazing! surely this album will be a blast as well. Miss her amazing voice and interpretation? stay tune, it’s coming real soon. :)
