Halaman Monthly Jazz October Edition
Halaman Monthly Jazz is on schedule again this month! And what a comeback this is. Halaman Monthly Jazz October Edition is coming with many great singers/musicians both from Jakarta and Bandung. There will be Andien, Chandra Satria, Karen Idol (Karen Theresia Pooroe, one of the finalist of Indonesian Idol, first season), Imam Pras Quartet, The Statement and Applepine. All of them will perform at the same stage in one night, ready to entertain you with their talents while you’re having delicious dinner with family and friends at the cozy Cafe Halaman.
Andien is a very popular jazz singer that has started her career since a very young age, when she was still in the 3rd grade of elementary school. She released her very successful first album, “Bisikan Hati” when she was 15 years old and became a famous singer ever since. It’s always nice to hear this lovely girl’s voice. Chandra Satria started as the vocalist of KSP Band. He has worked with many big names such as the legendary Chrisye, Sheila Madjid, Krisdayanti, Titi DJ, Titiek Puspa, Erwin Gutawa, Ruth Sahanaya, Tohpati and many more. He finally launched his debut solo in 2007, an album that finally came after 13 years in waiting. Karen Idol is one of Indonesian Idol Season 1 finalist who has achieved her dream as a famous singer today. Imam Pras Quartet is a high quality group led by the famous senior Bandung pianist, Imam Pras. The Statement is a skilfull band that was established in 2004 but went inactive for a couple of years. With the fresh new formation, they are back in business this year. Applepine is one of the young local talent with promising skills. What a heavy lineups for this October edition!
