Victor Wooten in Rhythm and Groove Music Camp

One of the innovator in bass world and the most influential bassist since Jaco Pastorius is coming to Indonesia. VICTOR WOOTEN! Yes, it’s him. Victor Lemonte Wooten, a world class bassist/composer/aranger/producer/vocalist and also a highly talented multi-instrumentalist who often seen playing his Fodera basses, especially his “Yin Yang” basses that designed exclusively for Wooten which incorporate the Yin Yang symbol. Wooten has won two Nashville Music Awards for “Bassist of the Year” and also the only three-time winner of “Bass Player of the Year” from Bass Player Magazine. Since 2000 he commited himself in education by opening Victor Wooten’s Bass/Nature Camp. This camp has been affecting the lives of hundreds of musicians from everywhere around the world. And now here’s the chance to have Victor Wooten shares his skill in Indonesia, as the guest star in Rhythm and Groove Music Camp.

After 4 successful presentation in two nations, Singapore and Malaysia, this time Rhythm and Groove Music Camp 2009 will be held in Indonesia. Rhythm n Groove Music Camp is a music activity, a place where you share all about music, including the music knowledge and how to play it.

All fields of education: vocal, guitar, bass, keyboard and drums will be guided by experienced mentors and musicians from three involving nations (Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia) such as the founder Din Safari and Harry Murti, Taufan Goenarso, Rayendra Soenito, Riza Arshad, Aldy Abuthan, Timur Segara, Jacob Sianipar, Bonar Abraham, Donny Joesran, Glen Dauna, Barry Likumahuwa, Kadek Rihardika, Yance Manusama, Arya Setyadi, M.Noor, Paul Danial (Singapore), and Zahid Ahmad (Malaysia). Everybody can join this activity! Whether you are still a starter or you are already a senior, from children, youngsters and adult, man and woman, you are all invited to join. Rhyhtm and Groove Music Camp creates a concept of teaching young people about music through nature camps, to find and develop top class musicians that really love and understand their field or even just for a hobby.

This 5th edition of Rhyhtm And Groove Music Camp will be held from October 15 to October 18, 2009, taking place at Puncak Pass Resort, Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia. It’s going to be wonderful to learn in a cool, calm and cozy environment. The tight schedule with jam session arranged everyday in this beautiful natural environment. It’s a 4 Days learning of all various aspects of musicIf you dream of becoming a musician/singer or you have big passion in music, this is the place to start!
