What a fantastic idea to collaborate all around the world’s best musicians into one orchestra for peace. This idea came from Dwiki Dharmawan, one of the most consistant and talented artist in Indonesia today. World Peace Orchestra, that’s the name, is a global project consists of local Indonesian and international skillful musicians, delivering many Indonesian ethnical musics, beats and elements like Sundanese, Ambonese, Balinese, Batak and so on, to answer the big question: how traditional music can survive against the test of time. Through this multinational orchestration we could learn that it has become the world’s concern to preserve these cultures to fit the trend we have today. All join hands in harmony, proving that these magical and mystical ethnics can blend in perfectly with modern musics.
