Djakarta Artmosphere: Arts For a Better Indonesia
A very interesting event is coming soon. This is a unique event that speaks loud about art in general. DJAKARTA ARTMOSPHERE is the name, and there are actually lots to talk about. First of all, this is an event that combines colorful different genres, across generations, popular and independent musics and so on. We are happy to see that jazz, as a part of world’s culture, is also included to participate in this event with unique concept. So happily we give our best to support it. Besides the music, Djakarta Artmosphere is going to present photograpy exhibition too. Without a doubt, photographic pictures are also a perfect media to represent art in its best.
Egalitaire – Arts for a Better Indonesia
Djakarta is the old name of the biggest city, the capital of Indonesia. Despites Djakarta as a name, the conceptor of this event see it as a symbol. A symbol of a big space that holds millions of lives from different background and cultures. Djakarta is a place that belong to everybody, no matter what their cults, religions or skin colors are.
And now let’s see the word Artmosphere. It’s a combination of two words, art and atmosphere. Through these two words they want to capture the nuance of art that comes from the sense and expression of everybody who lives inside the same space. Different identities, different cultures, different backgrounds, all blend together as one in this city. When you attend this event, you will see how all those different aspects make a very interesting form of art under one atmosphere.
Egalitaire
In the context of the nation’s struggle, egalitaire or the equality of all people has brought Indonesia to its freedom, and wise enough to respect the difference. Every generation has their own ways to give a significant contribution, it might be different than the previous generations, but nonetheless it enriches the history. Often the new approach gives a new interpretation in many fields, including music.
