Devian is one of the saxophonist Indonesia has today. Not many saxophonist dare to stand up as the main performer, but he has proved that a saxophonist can also stand up in front. He explores jazz wildly with improvisation and wow-ed the audience. He can play smooth jazz, but he can also sounds wild in funk. If America has Dave Koz, Eric Marienthal and other great saxophonist, Indonesian can be proud to have Devian. Tonight at JakJazz 2008 he gave a great performance featuring a former child idol from the 70’s,Dina Mariana.
