Architecture in Helsinki is going to greet their fans in Jakarta on March 10, 2012 located at Bengkel Night Park, SCBD Area, Jakarta, starting at 7:00pm onwards. Architecture in Helsinki comes from Australia with 5 personnels: Cameron Bird (lead vocals, guitars, percussions), Gus Franklin (trombone, horns, guitar, vocals, drums), Jamie Mildren (instrumentation, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, flute, glockenspiel, melodic), Sam Perry (slide guitar, vocals, bass guitar, drums, keyboards) and Kellie Sutherland (clarinet, melodica, horns, vocals, keyboards). They have been pleasuring the fans throughout the world with their music for 11 years, since they were formed in 2000. So far they have released 4 albums: Finger Crossed (2003), In Case We Die (2005), Place Like This (2007) and Moment Bends (2011). Some of the songs from these albums became Radio Hits and loved especially by the listeners around 16 to 30 years of age such as “Like It or Not”, “Desert Island”, “Escapee”, “W.O.W”, “That Beep” , “Contact High” and the always cool syncopated Polynesian-Indian-jazz shuffle “Do the Whirlwind”. Their single “Heart It Races” entered the Top 50 ARIA Singles Chart in 2007 along with the album stood tall at number 30 of ARIA Album Chart. In Indonesia their fans mostly come from the indie communities in Bandung, Jakarta and other cities. Some bands are also told to be inspired by them in playing their musics.

Along with their Asia Tour in 2012, Architecture in Helsinki will visit some of the Asian cities including Singapore and Jakarta, two of the cities which already listed in their Official Tour Date. In Jakarta, the band is brought by NUBUZZ-Prambors supported by Beyond Productions, who’s doing really well in supporting the great indie bands no matter where they come from or whatever music they’re playing. Bottlesmoker will be the opening act for this event. The fans of Architecture in Helsinki, Bottlesmoker or the electronic indie pop in general should grab this opportunity well.
