Acoustic Across 2010 “ETHNICOUSTIC”
University of Indonesia‘s Faculty of Economics (FEUI) is back again with a very interesting event with clear concept. BSO Band, that has been established as one of the distinguished student organizations in FEUI has an annual project named Acoustic Across, the biggest event held by the BSO Band, in which band competition is held together with an acoustic music performance by many great musicians in Indonesia from various different genres.
This event has been held since 2003 and still goes on until now with numerous bands from Jakarta involved. Right after we enter the new year of 2010, this interesting annual event will be held once again. This year’s theme is Acoustic Across: ETHNICOUSTIC. Using the theme of “Explore the Ethnical Ambiance in Your Music”, we believe this event will open all your senses to absorb the very best of acoustic music with a touch of ethnical elements.
Music has always been one of the most important element in ethnic. It can always create mystical and magical nuance and often results the work of art with a very high value. The sensation should be bigger when the ethnic music appears in acoustic outfit. And BSO Band has made a great choice by presenting some of the best acoustic talents today, together with the finalists from the competition. Tohpati, Tompi, Sore, Endah n Rhesa, Kunokini will be there. This is the event that will give a new experience in music listening, simply the event you won’t want to miss.
