jgtc, jazz goes to campus, 32nd jazz goes to campus

As the time goes closer, we are happy to announce the newest confirmed update of the 32nd JAZZ GOES TO CAMPUS (JGTC) from the committee. We see many enthusiast responses from the readers ever since we posted the first announcement two months ago. Many questions about the lineups, the roadshow (the pre-events), clinic and last but not least, the competition. So here, with this second announcement, we hope you all got the answers.

Jazz Goest to Campus (JGTC) is going to have their 32nd anniversary this year. From the first one that was held more than 3 decades ago, in 1978, JGTC has become one of the longest running jazz event, not only in Indonesia, in Asia but also in the world. As far as we know, JGTC is the second longest running jazz event in the world. It was started just 2 years after the first North Sea Jazz Festival. Since then, JGTC has shown their strength against the test of time. The Student Excecutive board of Faculty of Economics at the University of Indonesia (FE-UI) is still behind this annual event. We sincerely hope this year’s JGTC will appear as the best one ever, and we are really happy to participate in it as the media partner.

By claiming “Sense of Rejuvenation” is the theme for this year’s 32nd JGTC, the commitee hopes to bring out the very best sense of revitalization. Wide space of completely boundless creativity is provided, which hopefully will satisfy the thirst of many jazz aficionados, as well as providing the jazz musicians the stepping stone to deliver their passion, to give their best as a meaningful contribution towards the escalation of jazz.

Now let’s check the updates, and please save the dates! Plenty schedules are going to come before the main event!
