Java Jazz Festival 2010: The Manhattan Transfer – Chick Corea Songbook

How do you transfer the complexity of Chick Corea‘s famous compositions into vocal group harmony? The answer could be found gloriously in the special way, through the special show of the legendary vocal group named The Manhattan Transfer. The formation Tim Hauser, Cheryl Bentyne, Alan Paul and Janis Siegel has been carrying this group to go further in the future. Not only tributing to one of the biggest cat in jazz, but they also represent Chick Corea’s songbook into a new style. Listen to their version of ‘Spain’ and you’ll know what we mean.
