Java Jazz Festival 2010: Syaharani, David Murray, Soulvibe and Adonis Puentes

Submitted by Vierna on March 5, 2010 – 1:58 pmNo Comment

This great event has started! In stage A 1 jazz & Fashion hall, Syaharani and the Queenfireworks (ESQIEF) performed one amazing show. Syaharani’s crowd came from various ages. Performing hugely as the event’s opening in elegant red dress, Syaharani admit that this is her first different looks for a concert. The highlight of the show is one new song with techno-dance nuance from her upcoming album that will be released later on July 2010. She didn’t mention the title of her song yet so we just have to wait for this big surprise!

On the other stage – A 3 Pop Jazz, David Murray was giving such a magnificent show. David Murray feels so much honoured to be in Indonesia for this year event. This great saxophonist who is a fan of Barack Obama – the first Afro-American president in the United United States. When he knew that the president Barack Obama will come to Jakarta, for his gratitude he then sang a song Yes We Can the theme song of Barack Obama campaign in Jazz!

We moved on to the next stage – B 1 hall Hip Artist. Soulvibe sure is one band that has lots of Groupies. The stage area B1 is fully crowded with fans which most are teenagers. Soulvibe was very energetic, they were singing “please dont stop the music”. Everyone was hysterical, the euphoria that Soulvibe created was amazing, everybody was dancing, singing along and dancing.

JJF 2010 - Adonis Puentes 1

At the other stage, verdadero Sonero, the real sonero arrested his case brilliantly. Adonis Puentes spread a whole different color at C1 LG Music Appreciative stage. The lovely and authentic Cuban Music found its home with many people danced gloriously. It was amazing to see, with the fact that the hall was full with seats. But the music of Adonis Puentes couldn’t stop people to move. It was absolutely brilliant.

Be sure to keep on checking Jazzuality to get more updates on this great event!
