Java Jazz Festival 2010: Kurt Rosenwinkel Standards Trio, Maurice Brown, Alexandra Sherling
We are exploring JIExpo Kemayoran for day 2 of Java Jazz Festival 2010. we went to D1 Hall Jazz Fussion. Kurt Rosenwinkel Standards Trio, delivering smooth, easy listening and standard jazz, they managed to get a lot of applauses from the audiences especially when they were playing ‘Reflection’ (2009).
Maurice Brown in C2 Appreciattive Music Hall. A winner of National Miles David Trumpet Competition, he caught the attention of seniors trumpeters for his amazing improvisations and skills.Performing today in the second day of Java Jazz Festival 2010, Maurice Brown sent away vibes of excitements and gave a funky colour of jazz in his show. People were moving away to the funky beat along with his trumpet sounds.
Alexandra Sherling in B2 World Music Hall gave away one amazing performance. Dressing up in a simple style clothes she gave away not only amazing voice but also amazing appearance. Filled up with many of audiences from wide ranging age, she gave one magical performance that no one could forget.
