Java Jazz Festival 2010: George Duke and Lee Ritenour
Who wouldn’t know George Duke? The iconic jazz keyboardist/synthesizer player that become very famous by such hits like Brazilian Love Affair, Sweet Baby, Born To Love You and the phenomenal jazz album, Duke, in Indonesia, is also a composer and producer that dispers RnB area too, now comes to the festival with George Duke Trio. The show was crowded with audiences, off course, and it’s been a privilege to have a legend like George in Java Jazz Festival, and also in Indonesia.
The legend of jazz guitarist, the ‘Captain Finger’ Lee Ritenour now comes for his third times to the festival. His show, as ever, also made the long queue and fully crowded audience as the highlight of the event. Together with another legend whose has been closely tight with him over the years, Bob James, it’s great to have these musicians again in Java Jazz. We’ll never get enough of Lee and sure hoping he would filled the schedule for the years to come.
